Chapter Fifteen
Brandon sat next to Lily, on the second row of the church pew. His fingers interlaced with hers, and from the corner of her eye she saw him watch the ceremony.
Katie and Tim kept the ceremony simple. The old church was the same church Tim’s parents got married in. It was beautifully decorated with bouquets of flowers and lit candles. Lily estimated a hundred people were in attendance with six attendees in the wedding party. Understated elegance were the words that came to mind.
She could see getting married in an old stone church like that.
After the ceremony and the requisite photos taken, Brandon escorted her to the hotel ballroom. She felt like she was walking through a fairytale: the gown, the chariot, and her handsome prince. Giddiness filled her from head to toe.
