Chapter 8- The Crimson Snake

We stayed in the village for 2 months before leaving again.
We stop in the shore due to the attacks of what they called the 'floating beast'.
I don't know what they actually looks like but based on their description it looks more like an alligator or a crocodile.
Wave of extreme heat kissing every inch of my skin, drench in sweat.
I touched my protruding belly. Yes I'm pregnant again and this time with lion cubs.
Every night we spend our night with our heated make out session during our stay in the village. It was so intense that in the morning the beast folks looking us weirdly.
At first I was afraid that it will be baby snakes again but thank goodness it's lion's cubs this time.
Out of boredom I opened the system embedded in the ring.
"PAW!"
A huge screen appeared in front of me. I clicked shop and try to purchase a cola but there were no balance.
I try to top up but a noticed appeared.
"Sell items to recharge."
Hmm.. what should I sell?
I searched on the items that we carried and found Ophio's skin.
I appraised the skin and my eyes widened to see it's cost.
267,254 gold coins!
A bottle of coke cost 47 coppers. I can live the whole year with just Ophio's skin.
I immediately sold the skin and bought food and a bottle of cola.
In the menu there were foods that cooked in 5 star restaurants.
I bought Creamy seafood pasta with garlic bread for 346 copper coins, fish fillet for 277 copper coins and cola for 47 copper coins.
I also bought a camping table so I can eat comfortably.
I start munching my food. Oh, God! After a very long time this is the first time I have a proper meal in this world. Thank you, Mister Researcher. I will fullfil my promised.
Meanwhile, my mates notice me from the distance and run to check what I'm eating.
"Where did you get that food." Lio asked as he saw me munching happily with the food the didn't hunt.
"It's the food from my world do you want to try it?" The three of them nodded. A little bit of drool dropped from their mouth.
I bought each them same food I'm eating. I also bought a tent for 368 coppers.
"Ugh.. What kind of drink is this?" Lio asked while holding his throat as the fizzy drink flows to his throat.
"In my world, we called it Cola. It's perfect for this kind of weather."
"Where did you get this foods? It suddenly appeared out of nowhere." Ophio asked.
"It's from this ring. I got this from a male from my world."
"Mother!" I saw my little snakes running towards us while waving.
In the past two months Ophio kept feeding them emeralds and crystals the reason why they can morphed at the very young age.
I bought another 4 sets of the food for my baby. I watch them happily eating. They looked so adorable, the all looked like little version of Ophio. Sadly they don't look like me at all.
I named each of them from those snake characters from the anime I watched.
My eldest named Orochi he is the quiet type and very nonchalant. He is like a snake version of Aeron.
My second is Ayane and he inherited all of Ophio's traits including his narcissistic behavior.
My third Manda, I can say he is the manliest of them and like a snake version of Lio.
My fourth and youngest is Kasaka, he is the trouble maker and the liveliest.
"Oh, mother! We found a new friend!" Kasaka excitedly spouted.
"Really, but you shouldn't talk to stranger that's kind a dangerous." I warned them.
"But he knows father! He said in his memory that he inherited from his father he saw father though it wasn't clear." Orochi said.
"He's older than us. His hair, eyes and scales were crimson." Manda stated.
"There's only one snake that is closed to me that matches their description. Curtis!" Ophio said.
"That's the name he introduced to us!" Aya exclaimed.
"I should go and met him." Ophio said.
"I'll go with you."
The kids lead the way to their new friend.
We walked along the sandy shore, waves hitting our feet. I'm holding my umbrella under the scorching sun.
We stopped walking in front of an old cabin, in front of it sitting a pretty boy with crimson hair. His hairline braided sideways.
This must be their new friend.
"There's no mistake this one was really Curtis's offspring."
"You know his father?"
"Of course were very close to the point that we almost mated!"
"Eh?!"
"Well, before Curtis pursue some of females but they end up liking me but I told him that I don't like them and it's him that I like because he is prettier than those female."
"Whatever!" I rolled my eyes on him and he look apologetic for revealing some dirty secrets.
"You must be threatened by Curtis, right?" Ophio asked.
"Mmh.. I kidnapped my mother and tried to mate with her. My father was so furious that he almost killed me that day. I was saved because my mother threatened my father that she will took her own life if he will kill me."
An evil smirk crept to Ophio's lips as of he was thinking of something evil.
"Do you wan to be with your mother?" Ophio said.
"I want to but I can't."
"You can I will teach you how."
"No, you don't understand! Father will kill me if I showed up!"
"As long as your mother is alive you got nothing to worry about. She can always use her life to threaten you father."
"I-is there really a chance for me?"
"Yes, there is! But first I'll give you five days to gather your brothers, I'll teach them too."
"But I don't know if they will go with me if I asked them to. Unlike me my brothers feared my father so much that they decide to stay away from him. Only I had the courage to go against father."
"Just find them!" Ophio annoyingly commanded the poor boy.
The boy left to look for his brothers. We slept on the tent that night and the next morning I cooked pancakes for breakfast.
I ordered some meat for my males. Sausage, bacon and hash browns for them.
I was staring at the ocean vast, the water glimmers as it reflects the sun. From afar I notice a man who keep staring at me. Though he's hiding behind those big rocks I can clearly see his head peeking.
