We were eating dinner with Leo and Amber, joey joined us along with some of the other pack members. We were halfway through, laughter floating in the air when we all heard a loud screech, an inhuman screech from the woods.
The table fell silent and Leo looked over at Grayson, “come check it out with me, joey and Brett you come too.”
It was frustrating having to sit here, I knew there was no way in hell they would let me come pregnant. I already knew it had to be the wendigos, their nest had been discovered by the police so they’d found a new place to hide…our woods.
“Wait!” Amber called. She ran off and came back holding three blades.
“If you can use them, then use them.”
They took the blades and left. An hour later they returned. “Was it the wendigos?” I asked.
