NOAH’S POV The moment I stepped into the lecture hall, all heads turned my way. I instantly regretted being late. Finding a cab wasn't easy. A woman stood at the front of the class, arms crossed, an eyebrow raised as she met my gaze. Her stern eyes assessed me, and I knew what was coming. "Mr. Leister, you are late," she said, her tone carrying the weight of authority. The logical part of me told me to apologize and take my seat, but where was the fun in that?
