NOAH’S POV I stirred awake with a loud yawn, blinking against the soft golden rays spilling through the windshield. I stretched out instinctively, only to bump into the door with a dull thud. Right. I was still in the car. Rubbing the sleep from my eyes, I glanced out the window. We were on a narrow road, lined with tall trees on either side that filtered the sunlight into flickering patterns on the car’s dashboard. The whole place looked like something out of a fantasy movie.
