The moment the students left, I took a deep breath and stepped closer to the girl’s lifeless body. The stench of blood was thick in the air, the metallic scent filling my lungs. Her body was mangled beyond recognition, deep claw marks tearing through her flesh. The sight alone made my wolf, Rex, restless.
"This wasn't a rogue," Rex growled in my head. "This was something else."
