Chapter 17

Jade's POV

I'm so happy I made it to him just in time, I'm still surprised to know his a WEREWOLF! Yes I know about werewolves I grew up being told stories about them and the others. My 10th great-grandfather would tell them to my sisters and me ever chance he got which was every time we see him, we know the stories by heart but we never interrupt him. Although unlike my sisters I thought they were just stories that they weren't true. But as I look at the man in front of me (and no he is not naked) the man that I saw as a wolf, the man that is my mate and the man I have fallen in love with, I now know how wrong I was.

I looked over to were Neil landed at and frowned. I got up with my sword and started looking around. But he was nowhere in sight!

Then I felt a presence behind me I turn and did a fire kick, at the same time created a fire barrier around Aaron.

Aaron's POV

My love turn and did a fire kick behind her - hold up - SHE DID A FIRE KICK!? and if that wasn't jaw dropping enough a fire barrier appeared all-around me!? my jaw is so on the ground right now, my eyes are out of their sockets! I'm standing now completely healed. I'm watching my mate fight, that is when I notice she is fighting the first guy from before, I just noticed now that this guy looks a bit like my mate!?

Jade is mad, I can tell she really wants to kill this guy. However right now he is blocking her every strike. Then he lands a cut on her cheek. My eyes go wide "JADE!" I yell "DON'T MOVE!" she yells back.

The guy started laughing "You are just as pathetic as your parents, first you and your family seem to love the weak humans! But now you love the weak mutts that call themselves werewolves!" he continues laughing. Blaze and I let out a loud growl.

All of the sudden the ground started shaking and lava started shooting up and a swords handle came shooting out of the ground in lava and landed in front of Jade.

Jade put the sword in her hand away and bend down and pick the handle up, when she stood back up a sword appeared in the handle. Though not one made out of steel but made out of fire! I looked at the guy, because he had stopped laughing, his face is now white like he just saw a ghost.

The fighting started up again this time every time he blocked her strike the fire cut the sword up. Until only the handle remained then she cut his hand off, which was followed by his head!

The head and body crumpled to the ground, the head rolled a good few inches away.

I blinked a few times, the barrier was still up. "Jade!" I called out, but she did not move she just stood there looking ahead and breathing hard. "Jade!" I tried again with the same response. So I decided to see if I can go through the barrier to get to her. I slowly reached my hand out to the fire, it was not hot or warm it was as if it were not even there! I ran straight to my love!
