I open my eyes after a fitful night of sleep, if sleep is what you can call it. My head hurts, my body hurts. I wasn’t expecting Aries to say he was here for Adalynn. Every wolf there knew who he was talking about. I get out of bed and head for the shower.
I walked into the dining room and saw my mom and dad talking with Beta Buddy and Teri. “Where is Adalynn?” I asked, looking at Beta Buddy.
“She is with Warrior Michael. He went with Adalynn; Phoenix needed to go for a run. We spoke with her this morning about yesterday’s announcement.” Beta Buddy spoke.
