We managed to capture one rogue. I had planned on interrogating him, but the king insisted that his team do it. That would be a lie if I said it didn't tick me off.
Although Jasper and his team did lead the troops on the ground, he was OK with getting into the trenches and fighting with his elite guards or other pack teams. There were only a few minor injuries from the pack's warriors. I can't deny him the props of a job well done. I can't help but think, 'I should have been the one to interrogate the prisoner.'
I huddle with my warriors and express our gratitude for their job tonight. We protected our land and our families. The teams that stayed in the pack will now head out and guard our borders. You need to go home, hug your family, and get some rest.
