I watch as Adalynn’s wolf turns from me and walks off. ‘That she-wolf has some nerve being out here when rogues are running around.’ We shifted back to our wolf and headed back out in the direction we were heading.
Eric sent through a mind link, “What was that all about? I’ve never seen you act like that about some she-wolf.”
“Nothing. Seeing Phoenix leisurely running while rogues are in the area infuriates me. Even Wolfgang snarled at her.” I snap, still ticked off at her. ‘Silly she-wolf,’ Wolfgang growled lowly.
“OK, whatever, Jackson.” Eric closed the link.
