Scott POV
“Dad?” I called through the mind link. “There are rogues headed to the school,” I reported.
“I know Scott. My unit and I and about 30 warriors are coming.” He stated.
“Scott,” Beta Jake cut in, “Where is Adalynn?” He asked, worried.
“Jasper grabbed her, heading to the back entrance to the principal’s office. He’s taking her away in his car.” I told him while running to ensure all the school’s outer doors were locked and barricaded.
“The King called; he’s got a group of elite warriors already on school property escorting them to the palace. The palace is on lockdown and will be opened to allow her inside with the Luna and her guards.” My Dad included.
“Scott, please be careful.” Adalynn mind-linked me. “We are almost out of range; I am alright. Call me later. I love …..” She
