Scott POV
I linked Shelly when I caught her scent on the floor this morning and invited her into my room. This will be the last day I can do this, so I will take just one last piece of her. My parents are busy getting everyone ready to head to the palace, and they will never notice me slipping her in my room.
There is a knock on my door, and I open the door, knowing it’s her. I reached out and pulled her into my room. “I want you one last time. We will probably find our mates tonight and can’t meet up anymore, but I need to work out this anxiety before tonight.”
“Yes, Alpha.” She smiles shyly. I reach up and grab her by the nape of her hair and force her to look at me. “On your knees.” And she does so quickly.
My dad knocks on my suite and opens the door, “Scott, are you ready?”
