I run into the locker room with tears in my eyes, and Dakota follows. “I can’t believe he did that!” I cried on Dakota’s shoulder. “The boy has lost his mind.” Dakota could only hold me while I got the humiliation out of my system.
Phoenix is stalking around the back of my mind, ‘I’ll kill him.’ She growled.
‘No Phoenix, he’s an Alpha Wolf. You can’t kill him.’ She growls, ‘Wanna bet?’
I walk into my last class of the day. I grab two seats for Dakota and me. Just as she enters the room, that big bastard walks in right behind her. I am furious. I lock eyes with him, purposely maintaining eye contact to show my unhappiness. He walks over to the desk behind me and takes a seat. I turn my back to him, telling myself to ignore him completely.
