Adalynn POV The entire drive home, I couldn’t stop thinking about his eyes and how they sucked me right in, ‘Why did you even stop to listen to what he had to say? I knew better.’ I finally had to turn my music on to occupy my mind and stop replaying the conversation. I tap my driving playlist on my phone. Hell yeah, ‘Buy U a Drink’ from T-Pain is the first to play. It’s an oldie, but I love this song. I turned the radio up as I hit the main road, pointed the car toward home, and floored it. I pull up to the gates of the Red Dawn Pack; I stop, and a warrior, Michael, walks up and asks, “Hey, Adalynn, how are you tonight?” “Hi Michael, I’m good. How are you? How is your mate? Has she had the pup yet?” I quickly asked. He answers, “She is good, has a few weeks left, but it’s a girl.
