MOLLY'S POV
Lenny and I had spent an hour or so going through Edward's many documents that were at his office but so far we did not have something substantial as our evidence.
Even the pistol that I found earlier on was missing.
After two hours, we had turned everything upside down but so far there was nothing.
"f**k, this is a waste of time," I told Lenny when I started to lose hope. It has been almost three hours in but still, I couldn't find anything.
"What if he is a changed man? What if he dropped his criminal ways for you?" Lenny asked.
Wait, I had not really thought of that. What if he is really changed yet am still digging through his things? I need to stop and give him the benefit of the doubt. After all he is my husband and I had decided to forgive him.
