My heart was throbbing in my chest as I went back up to the police station. I needed to thank Edward for returning my money. Honestly, I also wanted to apologise for not believing him when he said that he had changed. I wish that I had believed him. He really changed his ways for me.
The police officer. allowed me to see him but Edward refused to come and meet me. When he was told that I was the one who was waiting for him, he refused to come and therefore I was forced to leave.
I really wish that he had come so that I could apologise to him.
I took a cab to town and on that trip, I decided to stop caring about Edward. I know that I have said that several times but this time, I am for real. He is a criminal, who deserves to stay in jail.
I need to start a new life. I n
