EDWARD'S POV
I was overcome with rage and this made me almost kill her. I only came to my senses when she was a second away from dying.
Wait a minute, what have I done? I quickly freed her from my tight grip and that is when she struggled to catch a breath. Her neck was reddish and swollen to show struggle and this made me step aside from her to calm myself down and to also allow her to calm down.
She was in pain and it killed me. She coughed as she struggled to breath. She hardly looked at me in the face. It was crystal clear that she was done with me.
I did not blame her though. Look at me now, I mean, what have I really become? A monster?
