MOLLY'S POV
"But I don't have any evidence,"I mumbled.
"Well, that will be a problem," Lenny said after a second or so.
"I hate to admit this but that is not all that he did,"I became honest with my best friend.
"What! There is more?" She gasped.
"Yea, the guy tricked me. He actually married me so that he could get my inheritance,"I told her and her jaw dropped.
"What!" She gasped.
"I know, I am really stupid to have wired all the money my dad left me to his account," I told her and her face was drained.
"I am really sorry. I now understand why you can't stop beating yourself up for everything that happened,"She said.
"I am really stupid Lenny. How could I be so naive,"I told her.
"No, you are not stupid. You are one of the smartest people that I have ever met," She said
