North A was never famous. Not for anything. It was one of the smaller settlements in the Rurals for a tiny community of the Enhanced who went there because the area was rich in minerals needed for the implants.
It was not cultured, or sophisticated. The buildings – they all looked the same. In the middle, the houses - where the Enhanced lived -, while they looked identical, were made for comfort. In the outskirts, the buildings served one purpose. To house the liners. Comfort wasn't an issue, a liner is not human, it doesn't have needs.
This used to be like so in the beginning. But the Rurals wasn't uninhabited. Scarom had many different tribes in the northern part, fighting for survival. They were driven there from the south, and there wasn't anywhere further to go.
