There are many rivers up around North A, most of them without a name, but there is one I should go, to find where I belong. Trees grow around it, guarding, as it is born from the rocks, seeping through the boulders in glistening strands. Moss grows on the rocks, and in the shade cool and fresh winds blow. The Snakes were always a poetic bunch I realized. The love – for nature, beauty, the cosmic balance -, it was in our blood. The people of the Rurals had and lived these feelings, never afraid to let it shine through. But when the Enhanced came, many have given up their truth to seemingly get ahead in life. I know I did.
