Nathaniel

When I received the call from that blasted pack, it nearly sent me into a rage. He raised her from a newborn, actually couldn't believe they let him. They gave him crazy restrictions, he wasn't allowed to show her any love or emotion. He was only to care for her in terms to keep her alive and healthy. I was never able to tell her and had to never see her again after 14, but she was my little girl. They turned her into a weapon and he couldn't stop it. They still had his mate and Kenzie's brother. She was also never aware was even alive. His poor baby had no idea there were three people that would do anything for her and to keep her safe. She was alive. That was all the hope we clung to because they destroyed her. I say them because I still don't know who they are. I am allowed to see my mate and son as long as I follow their rules and that is only so my dragon spirit doesn't lose his sanity. My hope was that when Kenz found her mate he would protect her and take her away from the terrible life she had lived. It was why he made sure to instill in Kenz that mates are real and the very best thing in the world. He tried to give her hope. How could he reject my baby girl? The only hope he was clinging to is knowing she was still alive. He felt her life force and the bond only a parent can have to their child. He thought he had killed her, but somewhere she was alive, whether mortally injured or not he was unsure. "Answer me, how could you reject her? Why and why harm her, interrogations are allowable as long as death is prevented. Please explain to me how you have come to damage an asset we loaned to your pack. We allowed her to come to help. She is the very best of the best and the original agent and look at what you have done!" Nathaniel angrily spewed towards Roberto, the i***t Alpha the goddess thought deserved his little angel. "I have no excuse for my behavior or actions. I ask you don't make my death too quick as I deserve extreme punishment for my actions. I have no explanation to even start to justify my actions. I apologize for harming your asset, although I wish you would refer to her as a person and not a thing!" Roberto had no fight and knew whatever happened next was his very own fault. If only he could turn back time and take it all back! Nathaniel didn't want to hear anymore. The interrogation was taped. He could watch and see what was done to his little angel daughter, but he could no longer face the man he wished to be his daughter, saving grace from a life of servitude. She was a machine to the agency, and they really didn't care about her. Unless they lose her, then they lose an asset. He needed to change the game now. His little girl was rejected, so now it was solely up to him to save their entire family. First he needed to find her and tell her the truth, the whole truth from the very beginning. How she would take it he had no idea. She wasn't allowed to show or have emotion growing up. Will she hate me when she finds out all I allowed to happen to her just to keep her brother and mother safe? I risk losing her for good. Once, I tell her she could run away. She is thirty now and with everything, I was hoping, with everything, her mate would save her. I couldn't choose, and she has been abused, tortured, and broken. Her mate could have fixed her and made her whole. Nathaniel debated on whether to tell the Alpha he knew Kenz to be alive, but he didn't want to. He wanted the stupid Alpha to wallow in his decisions and make him suffer. He would eventually find out she wasn't dead because he would get to live. Can't kill him for rejecting her. It isn't against our laws. If he killed her, I could, but I know her to be alive. He would keep it to himself for as long as he could, couldn't even bring himself to torture the Alpha, knowing it would cause his little girl pain to. Well best get to the details and then hunt down my baby. "Did she accept your rejection, Alpha? If so, do you still feel the bond? Did you feel her pain when she was under interrogation?" Nathaniel needed to know, so once he went to Kenz he could help her. "She did accept as Agent 1, never even said her real name. I did feel whispers of her pain, but not as it should had we accepted each other or had my wolf not been completely blocking me out." Roberto whispered his response. "That is all she knew herself as up until she turned 13 and her wolf awakened! Her wolf gave her a name, one that her biological parents picked for her. She has no idea where she comes from or who any of her family members are. She thinks they abandoned her to the agency and there she was trained to be the best and most elite Agent the agency has ever had. You have no idea what that girl has been through, capable of, or endured. It is regrettable that you rejected her. Did you even try to get to know her? It doesn't matter what is done is done, I suppose. You will remain here until my investigation concludes, and then you will receive my judgment and that of the agencies." Nathaniel was more cordial towards the Alpha, seeing how broken he looked and seeing he definitely regretted his actions. "If I could turn back time, I would take it all back. Everything would be different." Robert had barely mumbled and Nathaniel knew he wasn't supposed to hear it, but he did anyway. What exactly was the issue with this Alpha? You can see the guilt and regret plastered on his face. Why make the decisions he did if it seemed he truly wanted my daughter as his mate? Should he try and help him find redemption? It was something he would have to think long and hard about. He, after all, has allowed his daughters' life to go like it has. Yes, it was to save the other half of his family, but it didn't make it any less true. Her life had been miserable, and he had sat on the sidelines and watched. Trying to do whatever he could to help her without getting the other half of his family killed. Nathaniel walked away from the Alpha and made way to find his daughter. He needed a new plan, a way to tell her everything and a way to get to his soul mate and son before their demise. May the goddess be with both him and his family. They were going to need all the help they could. Especially if they were going to essentially be fighting the agency. As corrupt as it was, the agency policed all manner of the supernatural. He had been recruited, as they called it, because he was a hybrid. His father was a high ranking general in the royal kingdom of Dragon and his mother was the run-away Fae Princess who left her kingdom to mate my father. When he mated with a high-ranking wolf, he knew he was doomed. As soon as Kenz was born, they took her away. He was allowed to see her, change her diapers and feed her, but that was it. Wasn't allowed to openly love the greatest gift the goddess gave him. His handler has made him try to conceive another asset to them each time my mate has gone into heat. We have only ever made one other child, my son. Thankfully, the moon goddess seemed to make him completely human. So, although his life was threatened, they wouldn't put him through what his daughter had. He also hoped he never had another child he didn't want anymore of his treasures to be put through all this. How could he save them all, and keep them safe? He just wanted a simple life with his mate and was allowed to watch his whelp or pups grow. He needed to plan, and it had to be flawless. If he was going against the agency to save himself and his family, it would be the biggest fight of his life. First getting his princess and trying to make her understand and hopefully forgive his choices.
