Bye Beta, Bye Luna

Roberto POV Still sitting in the empty room, he waited for any news from his Beta. He wanted to bury her, and he needed to see her at least one more time so he could memorize her features. If he wasn't such a complete i***t, he could have been on his way to being mated and marked. She was an angel. His Beta told him he was leaving, but he didn't believe it. The two had been friends since birth. No matter how angry he gets, he knows Tristan will never leave. His sense of self-duty is too strong to leave his pack, especially for a woman that he has only just met. He can't feel towards her like he does. He didn't want to breathe or think anymore. He hurt all over and his soul was in shatters. Just when he thought he couldn't get more miserable, he felt his Beta cut ties to the pack! His vision blurred and the pain he felt was unbelievable and that was the last thing he saw. He blacked out right in the middle of the torture room. (The next day) BEEP...BEEP....BEEP! What is that noise? Where is he the last thing he remembered? Wait, oh no, he lost his Beta. His Beta left. How long was he out, and how long had he been in the hospital? What was going on with his pack? They were so screwed. The pack was as good as doomed. Why can't he seem to do anything right? Moon goddess, please save my soul and myself from making every bad decision known to humankind. "Ah Alpha, you are awake and seem to be doing better. Do you remember what happened and how you got here?" The doctor, who Roberto couldn't remember his name, asked. "My Beta left, I killed my True Luna, my wolf left, and now I want to meet the goddess and give up." Roberto had no idea why he said all that or even admitted all his faults, but it rushed out of him like it needed to be said. "Alpha...I seem to be a bit confused. I was unaware you had found our Luna, so how could you kill her and, yes, we all felt the separation of the Beta which is what landed you here. Your Gamma Rick brought you here. The two of you are linked more strongly to the Beta, so he knew you would be in distress at the severing." The doctor looked more concerned than when he walked into the room. "My mate, your Luna was the agent. Agent 1, she was mine. I rejected her. Then I sent her for interrogation. Tristan killed her during phase two. I ordered him not to take it lightly on her even knowing she was supposed to be my mate. He killed her and I then instructed him to dump her outside the border. I didn't want S.P.A to investigate. We planned on blaming the rogues. This morning or wait how long have I been out? The Beta renounced his claim. He couldn't find her body, so he left. Her body is gone. So you see, I am a monster. I have lost the Beta and called your Luna!" Again, Roberto was just words vomiting all the things he should keep hidden and never tell a single soul. "Alpha? You have been out for about 27 hours and as to the rest, I must report this immediately. What have you done?" The doctor was shaking as he responded to the Alpha, saying what he did could land him unalive but he would not let his transgressions pass. He has doomed all who live under his rule. Goddess have mercy on all their souls. "I am your Alpha and you will not report me! I could have you killed for insubordination or treason or something. Quit spouting nonsense, you will tell no one! Roberto was enraged he couldn't lose everything well, at least the little he had left his pack. Before the doctor could respond to his Alpha, because no one could fight an Alpha's order, about twenty warriors came in holding down their Alpha and getting a pair of silver cuffs on him. Roberto was baffled. What the heck was going on. His warriors were arresting him. "What is the meaning of this? I am your Alpha!" Roberto was enraged! "I am one of the guards that witnessed all your unlawful actions and, as a law-abiding werewolf, I reported you immediately. The S.P.A. have arrived upon my request and have more than a few questions for you! They said if you truly did kill Agent 1 not only would the rogues in the area be eradicated, would you and the rest of this pack. Next time you Alpha order our silence, make sure you get all of us and not just some, we will abide by the goddess. Now it is my pleasure to put you under arrest. Once you are more stable from the loss of your Beta, you will be transferred to the dungeon." He was beyond screwed. His Luna was dead and gone and his Beta left. The S.P.A. is here to investigate. He knows what will happen, what verdict will be found. He will be sentenced to death for killing his rightful Luna. He deserved it. He made all the wrong decisions, and he deserved to die. He kept quiet and allowed himself to be cuffed in silver. He deserved this! Wait a minute, they said, if he killed her. Do they think that she is still alive? She couldn't be alive. He saw her with his own eyes. She was dead, but why would they say that? He spent the next couple of hours in the clinic until being seen fit to transfer to the dungeon. He let the warriors take him without a fuss. There was nothing he could do and once the pack heard about all he had done they themselves would want him dead. After all, many had waited a long time for their Luna. The pack is whole with a Luna just like with the mate bond. You can't feel whole without all the pieces! Roberto knew neither could actually receive a link from him, one dead and the other renounced, but he was still going to try, and get at least his last thoughts out to them. "I am so sorry to both of you, my mate and my Beta. Never have i regretted anything more in my life than the choices I have made, but they are already made, and I can't take them back! Sorry, so sorry. I love you both my soul and my friend! Forgive me and may the goddess allow me to see you in the afterlife." Roberto knew the link wouldn't go through, but he needed to say it, because he was very sorry for everything and not just because he knew his penalty was death. He deserved much more than death. So much more, he hoped his Beta would live a long and wonderful life because he was the best man he had ever known. The dungeon was cold and empty, he was all alone. They didn't even put him in the interrogation room. At least there maybe he would be able to get a faint smell of his mate. The one he lost due to his own decisions, but he so badly wanted her comfort before he was to die. He heard footsteps and knew someone was on their way. Please take him to interrogation. He just wanted to take her scent. He can never see her again but wants the scent for as long as he can. A man that stood upwards of seven feet tall with the organist hair he ever saw stood in front of his cell. It would be quite comical if the man wasn't so huge! "My name is Nathaniel, head of the S.P.A. It is my understanding you have killed your mate, our agent, and in doing so made your Beta leave the pack. Do you deny any of what was just said to you? How could you reject her?
