I send it, more as a warning than a regular text to Kendra, using a burner phone. She really does know how to push one’s buttons, that girl.
She doesn’t know this, but I’ve been keeping a close eye on her. For her safety, of course. Nothing creepy.
I need to know where she is and what she’s doing at every point in time. Why she does the things she does and, most importantly… why the hell she’s letting that bastard Aaron manipulate her with his fake charm.
The thought of her in his arms makes my blood boil. If only I could put a bullet in his head right now. But I’ve got to be smarter than that. I need things to go right.
