Chapter 14

Kora's P.O.V

I'm not sure how long i have been asleep. I woke up a few times on the drive just for a brief moment or two. "Hey beautiful, wake up, we are here." Nickolas says in that hot raspy tone in my ear. It was still night time but most likey it was the middle of the night, so I couldn't see much around except trees. I noticed there was a house that the SUV stopped infront off, then down the hill not to far was a 3 story building. I am confused, I know everyone can desgin their packs differently and this is different compared to the Blood Moon pack. The house was on a bill enough hill that the 3 story building wasn't blocking the view much. "Go on inside the house, I'll get the baby." Nick says kissing my forehead. I didn't hesitate, the door was already unlocked which I thought was odd, Aaron came up behind me with our bags and placed then in the living room. "Nickolas's Momma came in earlier and did some rearanging for you and the little one." He says, he must of noticed my concern when the door wasn't locked. I just smiled. "So who lives here?" I asked as Nickolas walked in with Hope in his arms, she was still sound asleep. "Well I do, and so do you and our little one here." Nickolas says walking to a back bedroom with Hope. I followed to see what he was planning on putting her for the night. We walked down a long hallway to the last bedroom on the right, inside was a queen size bed with two large windows on each side of th bed. At the foot of the bed there was a brand new pack and play for Hope to sleep in, Nickolas laid her down after I changed her diaper again and covered her with a nice soft pink blanket. "I thought you and her would be comfortabel in here, but when you are ready and you want to move to my room we can turn this into her room." Nickolas says with a big sleepy smile. I nodded. I wanted to ask him why he didn't stay in the pack house like most Alpha's but I have plenty of time to ask that later. Aaron brought our back into the bedroom and told me good night before turning to Nickolas. "Anything else you need Alpha?" Aaron asked. "No, you can go home, I have someone covering training in the morning so you can spend the morning at home." Nickolas says rubbing his hair. I'm guessing her drove most of the way. As Aaron left Nickolas told me that there were plenty of towels in the bathroom and to make myself comfortable. He said goodnight and walked in the bedroom across from mine and shut the door. The bathroom wasn't attached to the bedroom but it was right down the hall, I collected my personal items and headed to the bathroom. I realized I forgot clothes so I opened the door to walk back into my room but Nickolas was by the door, "I know you probably don't have a lot of clean clothes except the ones we bought today so here is a long t-shirt of mine you can have." He says holding a very large black t-shirt in his hands. He wasted no time getting in comfortable clothes or should I say shorts, thats all he has on... I tried not to stare but damn he was hotter without a shirt on! "Well is there anything else you might need?" I could tell he noticed I was staring at him, I blushed a little at his smirky tone. "No, this will do, thank you." I slowly shut the door as he walked back to his room. Tonight was the first night in 4 years I took a shower without looking the door or freezing. I turned the water as hot as I could, I love extremely hot showers. Something about it just makes my body relax. After about 25 minutes I decided to get out, Nickolas shirt was on the counter. His scent was so wonderful. The smell of irsh spring soap and earthy was so intoxicating and I needed more! Werewolfs has all the same abilites as human unless we are in wolf form. Then you have double the strength, sense of smell, taste and hearing. Most of us can run extremely fast as well. My wolf was still weak, not mention I haven't shifted in 4 years so it's going to hurt like a b***h. I know i'll have to do it soon now that Rain is getting stronger. Returning back to my bedroom I stopped in front of Alpha Nickolas' room, I wanted to see him again, I loved how safe he made me feel. But I didn't want to seem needy so I decided to go straight to bed. The sun would be up in a few hours anyways. My mind filled up with images of Nickolas' how did a girl like me get so luckly to have a mate like him. It wasn't long before sleep took over.
