Chapter 11

Kora P.O.V

After I finished talking Alpha Nickolas I knew I needed to find Savannah and tell her what was happening, I knew she would be happy but also sad. She and I are extremely close, I knew since I didn't have my own phone I would need her to give me hers so could call when I got a chance. First I wanted to tell the staff that I have grown to love that I was leaving. I would leave Savannah in my place. She and I worked on just every event and party together so she knows what do. Plus I knew The Luna wouldn't be so harsh on her like she is on me. After a few tears and many hugs I said my goodbye, I felt the cell phone vibrate in my pocket and it was Alpha Nickolas. My heart felt warm and happy, he said when he called it was time to pack mine and Hope's things so that we could leave. "H-Hi!" I said, damn I sounded like a school girl on the phone. "Babe, are you ready to go? I am about to meet with the Alpha which won't take long. Make your way to Savannah's when you are ready and I be there soon okay." Alpha Nickolas' sounded a bit concerned but I try not to be bothered by it. Savannah still had Hope at her house so I could go and pack what belong to me and Hope easier not having hold Hope on me. There wasn't much to pack honestly. Mostly things for Hope, her clothes, a few toys, her favorite blanket and of course her car seat that Savannah's family bought this morning. They must have known Alpha Nickolas was planning on taking us today. I only had a few outfits really and most of them where worn out. I grabbed my pictures of my parents and the many I took with Hope and Savannah. I placed my bag on the porch and took one last look at the shed that I called home the last 3 years. I was not about to cry over it, if anything I am excited for what is next for us.

Bill was returning from his daily run when he saw me coming out of the shed, "Let me take that! The car seat is heavy." Bil says taking the car seat that was still in the box from my hands. "Alpha Nickola already has the car at our house, I'll load your bag and install the car seat for you." He says with a very happy tone, I could tell he was excited for us to be leaving this hell hole. We walked up to their house and Amy had Hope her arms covering her in kisses, this family loved us like I was their own daughter and Hope was their granddaughter. They would also have a special place in my life, no matter where I was going. I just realized taht I didn't know where Alpha Nickolas pack was. I guess he was going tell me the night that the gamma interupted. I looked in Amy's eyes and a small river of tears started to flow out of me. I just reached to give her the best hug while Hope was in the middle of us. "Savannah is looking for you love, I think she is in the pack house. Check the kitchen." Amy says swaying with Hope in her arms. I gave Hope a quick kiss and said "Mommy will be right back love!" I couldn't wait to be in that car with my new family, I didn't even care where Alpah Nickolas pack is as long as it is away from here!

Hmm Amy said to check the kitchen but no one has seen Savannah in there yet today. She can't be far, so I just check all the places I have been with her the last few days. I decided to check the room that held Alpha Jason's cermony but she wasn't ther either. Before i can turn around to leave the room I hear that sicking laugh behind me. s**t! s**t! s**t! How does he just pop up like that! Rain is growling in my head, "Jason aren't you suppose to be in your office?" I tried not to soumd so scared in my voice but after this morning I just could't help it. I moved slowly and tried to reach the cell phone in my pocket to dial Alpha Nickolas like he told me to. Before I can fully get the phone in my hands, Jason comes up behind me and snatches it away. Jason looks at the screen and sees Alpha Nickolas' name on the screen. "Oh you have got to f*****g kidding me! This who you have been looking at!" Jason yells violently grabbing my arm. "OW Jason your hurting me!" I say trying pull away. Jason slaps me across the face, I can see the rag in his eyes. "Luckly for you I'm suppose to have a meeting with him before he leaves, shall we go see what he has to say?" Jason pulls me al the way up to the elavtor and never lets go of my arm. There will be a burise there now, great. The elavator stops at the top floor and Jason waste no time yanking me to his office, the door opens and I can see Alpha Dean, Brent but no Alpha Nickolas. Where is he? Jason took the phone so I have no way to reach him now. s**t I am in trouble now. Was all I could say to myself.

"Look who I found trying to leave the pack without our permission." Jason says throwing me on the ground. Alpha Dean looks at me from the couch with a cold stone look, "Kora I made it clear when I brought you here 4 years ago that you where never leaving, did I not?" Alpha Dean says. I said nothing. They didn't own me, hell they never gave me the Pack mark so I was free to leave if I wanted. "You never made me a pack of this pack so you don't own me! None of you do!" I say standing my ground.I was done with them, all of them. "Who the hell do you think you are getting tough with girl!" Jason grabs my hair and yanks my head back against him. Jason is 6'0 feet tall so he eas tall enough to pull my head back to look up at him. "You know better than that, lets see if this will teach you a lesson." Jason says reaching for the same sliver knife he pulled on me this morning. Except instead of attempting to stab me, he put the Blade against my legs burning my skin at the touch. Damn I should have worn pants! I refused to scream, or give them any sort of satisfaction that they where able to hurt me. I held my breathe and bit my teeth down trying to fight the need to scream. After the third time however I couldn't do it anymore. Two burns in my upper legs and once on my stomach, the stomach is what hurt the most. "Where did you get the nerve to brave huh? You really think that Alpha Nickolas loves you? He won't when he sees how damaged you are." Brent says standing in front of me. Alpha Dean says nothing, just drinks his whiskey nodding for Bent to continue what he is doing. My wolf is doing her best to help me but she is still weak. " i highly double he will want a wolf who can't shift as a Luna. I wouldn't." Jason says, truth is I could but I was painful and I refuse to show anyone what Rain looked like, so I just pretending I was took weak to do it. Not even Savannah has seen her. "You don't deserve to see her!" I splat out with anger. Brent decided it was his turn to take a smack at me, and he does. Right in my stomach causing me to scream out in pain and fall to my knees in seconds. Just then the office door opens and Alpha walks in ragging mad, he's eyes are black and yellow. His wolf must be forward for them to be that color. I couldn't move, the punch from Brent knocked the breath out of me. I even started to blackout honestly, my wolf was fighting it, Let me come forward Kora, I can help you! Please! Rain was begging for me to give her control. No They can't see your eyes! You know that! i yell at her, I know she wanted to help but I remeber my father telling me not to let the wrong people see her. I don't remember why he said that but he was very clear on it. I just looked at Alpha Nicks who was standing over me to protect me from them. I couldn't hold it anymore, I slowly slipped away. I knew I wouldn't die but the pain was to much. I just needed sleep.
