Blake's POV...
“Hospital...” Zoe said and I immediately became worried, asking myself why she was there for three days straight.
I couldn't think of a reasonable explanation why she would go off-grid for 3 whole days leaving me worried as hell just to be at a hospital.
So, I asked her
“Why... what happened?" I asked waiting for her to speak.
She looked so troubled and nervous as she fidgeted with her hands continuously, digging her toes into the floor, her look automatically told me something was not right, because she never looked or acted this way with me unless something major had happened.
I wanted so badly to know what got her this way, to help take this pain I see in her eyes away but I didn't want to push my luck.
I didn't want her to go on the defence like she always does
