Zoe’s POV  I spent days in the hospital, drowning in a darkness that had become my life. I cried day and night, hoping the tears would somehow erase the emptiness inside me, but they never did. Blake never left my side. He searched tirelessly for ways to cheer me up. He brought dozens of red roses that filled the entire room, my favourite dark chocolates, and even hired a band to serenade me at all hours. Yet none of it could touch the hollow depression I felt.
