My eyes fluttered open, but I felt too warm and comfortable to move. A cold shiver crept down my spine, as I realised I must have fallen asleep and that Drake was not there. I jumped from the bed I was in, sighing a breath of relief, as I noticed that we were home, and I was sleeping in the bed that I shared with Drake. I wondered where Drake had gone too.
I decided to go change quickly, and brush my teeth, before heading to find him. I suspected he was with my father and brother trying to sort out the housing situation with the mothers and hybrids. Plus, I also need to check in on Paige and Cornelius. Paige would have shifted for the first time and gone through her first heat, so no doubt she would need her best friend. I certainly did.
