Elisa’s POV- As we descended the stairs into the prison that held the dragons, I couldn’t help noticing how cold, damp, and foul smelling it was. Everyone’s noses wrinkled at the stench. I could only imagine the conditions that the dragon people were being forced to live in. The further in we went, the darker it got, though it was easy enough for us to see in the poorly lit prison. The moment we got to the bottom of the stairs, we could see the cells. The cells were overcrowded, and had no real beds. Many of the dragon people looked well enough to fight, but some looked weak, too weak to fight. When their eyes landed on Drake, they all bowed to him. Some began crying tears of joy.
