We were travelling to the secret base, with us being told that Robert was not going to take us with him, in an attempt to keep Elisa out of the fight, believing she needed more rest. Even now, I can feel her power was different. It flowed through her more freely. It made me realise she really now believed in herself, believe she was the daughter of my god, Drazul. I believed she was the moment that I found out she had the blood of Drazul coursing through her veins.
When the convoy came to a stop, we were all worried. We didn’t know why, so we climbed out to investigate. Beta Quinn waved for us to hold back to begin with, but after a few moments he waved us forward. I could feel Elisa questioning who it was, in her thoughts. I was questioning it too.
