Drake’s POV-
Waking up this morning, everything felt so different. My parents were gone, and I still hurt, but the sun still felt brighter and warmer, as it beamed through the curtains. It was all thanks to this little she-Lycan mate of mine, she took away so much of my pain just by being there, listening to what I had to say. I honestly couldn’t ask for a better mate. I gazed down at her as she slept with her head and hand on my chest. Her little snores almost coming out like purrs. They were the most adorable sounds l had ever heard. We had slept in the clothes we wore to school yesterday; I really didn’t care that we did. I was just so happy that she stayed with me throughout the night. I just don’t think I will be able to sleep properly without her in my arms now.
