Drake’s POV-
All my people had gathered in the centre of the village that had been built for us by the Lycans. I could see the concern and worry etched on their faces. I stood in front of them. I could feel the sadness building up again inside me. I guess Elisa must have noticed, because she took my hand without hesitation. Holding her hand was enough to soothe the sadness and pain I felt, so I could deliver this announcement without breaking down in front of everyone. She is my rock in all this.
I smiled at her, as if to say thank you. Kenneth came to my other side, and whispered, “All our people are here.”
I nodded to him. Before turning to my people, I cleared my throat, trying to clear the knot I had within it. People began to quiet down to listen to what I had to say.
