"What on earth are you doing?" I shouted and rushed to snatch the papers from his hands. He seemed stunned and taken aback for a moment. I bet he didn't anticipate my quick appearance.
"You were in the shower," he mumbled, looking bewildered.
"Why were you destroying this last bit of evidence that could help us solve this case?" I yelled again, observing him glance downward and then shake his head.
"You can't just go on with this trial," he shook his head, stepping back from me and behaving strangely.
"Caspian! What's wrong with you? First, you cheat on me, and now you're sabotaging my first case too?" I yelled in frustration, ensuring I kept the files behind my back.
"It's because you never listen," he yelled, and I gasped.
