KIERAN BLACKWOOD The soft hum of the engine fills the silence inside the car as I drive toward the bar where Joseph, Scarlett's stepfather, was last seen. Tension builds within me, and the thought of that bastard being free from prison haunts me like a persistent shadow. He shouldn’t be free.
