The darkness around me feels infinite.
It's as if I am in a place where time doesn't exist, where reality distorts and nothing makes sense.
I look around, trying to find something, anything, but there's only emptiness.
The ground beneath my feet is cold, but not solid, as if I am suspended in a space between the real and the nonexistent.
And then, I hear it.
"Scarlett..."
Kieran's voice.
My heart tightens. It's him. I know it's him.
"Kieran!", I shout, but the sound of my voice seems to be swallowed by the darkness.
I begin to run, my feet hitting an invisible ground. I see nothing; I only hear his voice, distant, pleading.
"Please come back to me... You need to come back."
"I'm trying!", I shout back, but his voice doesn't respond.
