The town had been spared from the impending disaster that the Mambas had planned, thanks to Chima's determination and the support of the village leaders who had embraced him and followed him to chief Obinna's place to threaten him of his position ,thereby exposing his secret to the public.This brought fear in the heart of chief Obinna because this was his greatest fear and he doesn't want his name to be tarnished in the town so he accepted their offer ,by telling his men not to continue the operation. So the cult's grip on the community had been broken, and the secrets that had plagued Chima for so long were finally brought to light.

Chima refused to keep to the agreement he made with chief Obinna by keeping secret.He revealed his identity as Chief Obinna's son and every wrong that chief Obinna has done , including the death of his mum to both the town and the cult members. The revelation left many in shock, and Chief Obinna was forced to face the consequences of his actions. The cult members, many of whom had been manipulated by their leader, disbanded, their influence vanishing as quickly as it had arisen.

The town began to heal, as the dark cloud of the Mambas lifted. Chief Obinna, once a respected figure, faced judgment for his actions. The town's people, while angry and hurt, grappled with the complexities of forgiving a man who had led a double life.
