Dressed in coveralls and a bright red cap with earmuff tabs Mike gets his gloves and tools from the toolbox. He unwinds the chains and lays them out ahead of the drive wheels on his side and then goes around to do the same on the far side. He cautions her to stay where she is.
He comes back around and asks if she wants to go back up top where it's warm. She declines. "Okay, but I want you to stay right here where I can see you while I pull ahead a few feet. Okay?" She nods agreement.
Mike goes up top and pulls up onto the chains a ways. He climbs down and starts locking them on the wheels. When he has them as tight as he can manage with pry tools and cinches he calls to her, "Okay, let's go."
He stows away the tools and helps her up the ladder. This time he gets a real good view of her
