"I don't see an issue with that, my love. You know I'm always more than willing to cater to your desires," John responded with a heated undertone, briefly exchanging pleasantries with Floyd and Lucielle, while largely ignoring Jessica.
"That's the downside of being the hired entertainment," Jessica murmured into her ear somewhat despondently. "Good enough to amuse the men unless their wives are around."
