"But I don't see Karreuche here." I said looking around.

"Hahaha very funny." he said sarcastically. "I miss you. You was gone all day."

"I went to the mall with Olivia and met a friend."

"Oh ok. What's her name ?"

"It's a he. His name is Khalil and he is my ex."

"You not planning to see him again, are you ?"

"Yes I am. As a matter of fact, tomorrow."

"Nope. Sorry. Can't do that."

"Why not ?"

"BECAUSE I SAID SO."

"Hold up, hold up, hold up, WHO YOU GETTING LOUD WITH ? As a matter of fact, if he still have feelings for me, I might have some for him."

I put my hand over my mouth in shock. I never meant for that to come out my mouth. James just looked at me in digust and walked upstairs.

"James, wait I'm sorry." I said as I felt tears building up.

"I can't with you. First you said you have feelings for him. Now you're taking it back. I don't think so."

"James--"

"Leave me alone."

"Wait--"

"I said leave me alone."

After that, I felt pushed off the steps and at the bottom and then I blacked out.

James

"No ma, it was a mistake. I never meant to do it."

My mom was yelling at me in the hospital since I accidently pushed April down the marble flight of steps.

They weren't like a regular 10 steps. It was a slippery 20. I hope I didn't kill her.

"That's the same thing you said about Robyn. But it was a mistake. But if it happens again, you won't like me. Understand ?"

"Yes ma." I said chuckling.

The doctor came and said she had 4 broken ribs but she was gonna be okay. We walked in the room to see her crying silently.

"Ok James, imma step out so you guys can talk." my mom said walking out.

"Ok. April ?"

"What ?" she said silently.

"I'm sorry. I really am."

"For what ?"

"For pushing you down the steps."

"That's it ?"

"Yes."

"So you still mad at me for accidently saying I still had feelings for Khalil ?"

"Yes."

"Then leave."

I sat there looking dumbfounded. I said I was sorry. But I should've said for everything that happened tonight.

"YOU'RE STILL HERE. LEAVE JAMES."

My mom came rushing in here since she heard yelling. I was angry so I left and April stayed crying.

"What happened sweetie ?". Ms. Joyce said.

"It's James." I repiled. "I accidently said I had feelings for my ex so he pushed me down the steps. And just now he apoligized for pushing me but not for yelling at me."

"I'm sure he will calm down."

"I hope so."

I went to meet Khalil for lunch at In and Out. He was the only speaking to me, apart from Olivia and Ms. Joyce. James was no where to be found.

I put on a black spagetti shirt with dark blue high waisted shorts and black sneaker wedges.

I walked in the restaurant and saw Khalil in the back on his phone waiting for me. I sat down and got his attention.

"Hey Khalil."

"Hey beautiful."

I felt my face getting hot and Khalil was chuckling. I just knew I was blushing.

"Are you ok ? I heard you in hospital."

"Yea, I'll be fine."

"Ok then."

We ate our food and left. He had to drop me home since I took a cab here. We arrived at the house and I seen 'noodles' getting out her car and James gave a hug and a long kiss and they went inside.

I guess they dating again. I grabbed Khalil and gave him a kiss. He stood there shocked but I brushed it off.

"See you again, Khalil." I said then winking and left the car.

I walked inside and seen James and Karrueche all hugged up upon the couch. I just walked up the steps and ignored them.

I went upstairs and seen Olivia was missing but there was a note and it said.........

'I TOLD YOU REVENGE WAS SWEET.'

I guess she was serious. So I walked downstairs and handled my buisness.
