[Welcome, Ilucca! Do the first quest to continue to the next level!]
[GRAND ORDER: Enter GOD MODE and defeat the monster in five minutes!]
Abel held his pace and turned to where Ilucca was as a blinding red light emerged from under Ilucca's feet and seemed to swallow him. Chaos was everywhere and blood began to flow through the Ooz square like a river, destroying a barrier, but the people who were running around chaotically saw another strange phenomenon as the pillar where Ilucca's body was tied was destroyed and Ilucca, who was assumed to be dead, now walked out of the red light that covered him with a bronze spear in his hand.
Ilucca walked without pause; it was as if he had never been shot, but the blood on his body still looked fresh and the bullet wound was still clearly visible. Even so, he looked so strong as his high jump brought him to the monster and attacked its tail.
The monster screamed so loudly that people covered their ears. It was in pain and looked for Ilucca, who drew his spear and started attacking the monster's long, bulky body. Their fight was unequal; the snake monster hunted Ilucca, who kept in his blind spot and left painful strikes on every place he stepped on.
"What's going on? Shouldn't he be dead already?"
"He's moving so fast! Is this the same ability he's been using in fighting all this time? His speed is beyond belief."
"Is he going to save us?"
Ilucca stopped in front of the chaotic and deserted street. Everyone saw the way he overwhelmed the monster from a distance. But there was one person who fell down with overwhelming fear on his face, and he greeted Ilucca's attendance with an astonishing sense of relief.
"Ilucca...," Ilucca looked at Alan, who was calling his name in a soft and trembling voice. He was looking for salvation but Ilucca was glaring at him with his cold and sharp red eyes. "Ilucca, please save us from that monster. It looks like it's a type A monster that we won't be able to face. Please save this district, Ilucca!"
Just because they saw Ilucca hurt the monster, they pleaded to Ilucca; but Ilucca hadn't forgotten how they herded Ilucca onto the execution stage and showered him with insults.
"Please save us, Ilucca!"
" Forgive our words, Ilucca. Please save us!"
Things seemed to change quickly, and the tables were turned in the blink of an eye. Now the people who wanted Ilucca dead were begging at his feet to be saved. Ilucca looked at those who were pleading with fear, but he had no desire to save them, even though those people were the reason Ilucca wanted to become an A-rank hunter and bring them to the Utopia District.

[The Order - optional: Do you want to save the district?]
[Reward: one GOD FRAGMENT]
Ilucca ignored the notification that appeared in front of his face because it was only optional. He could save his people, but he was also free to choose not to save them. Ilucca remembered Mari; the smile of braveness was the last thing the girl gave Ilucca before she faced her death. Now Ilucca could see how death could turn fear into courage, and turn courage into helplessness. Those in front of Ilucca were brave people who had become weak because of their fear of death, but Ilucca had already tasted death and thanks to those people.
The monster woke up, and its deafening scream sent people running for their lives again. Alan was still on the ground, helpless after his left leg was injured by the monster's attack. Alan crawled to Ilucca for help, and the snake monster began to slither quickly from behind Ilucca.
"Please save me, Ilucca. Save this uncle of yours...."
"Uncle," Ilucca finally spoke, he was going to say it quickly because the time for his quest was only a minute away. "You said I could get back at you if the Gods gave me a second chance, now that I have a second chance, do you think I'll just miss it?"
Alan was stunned at Ilucca's words, but he didn't have time to move as Ilucca suddenly jumped very high to avoid the monster that was slithering towards him with its mouth wide open, and let it devour Alan with a single strike.
"AAAAA!"
People watched as the 15-meter-long monster split Alan's body in two with its long fangs filling its huge mouth. They cried out in fear and thought they were going to die after the monster finished with Alan, and moved towards them in a swift motion.
But just a few seconds before the monster's huge mouth was able to swallow several people in front of it, a swift and powerful attack came from above and killed the monster in an instant. A sound like a loud bang was heard as the monster's head fell to the ground. The lack of movement made them sure that the monster was dead.
"Is it dead?"
"It's dead!"
"Look at the top of its head! Isn't that the spear Ilucca brought?"
Seeing the bronze spear stuck on top of the monster's head, people climbed on top of the monster's head to see what was happening, and they were astonished to see how the bronze spearhead penetrated deeply into the monster's head. Just as one of them was about to try to pull out the spear, it formed a large particle and disappeared with the wind. Only then could they see that the wound made by the spear left a mark like a lightning strike on the inside of the monster's head.
The astonishing phenomenon they witnessed left them speechless except, "What a powerful power. Is this the power of Ilucca's hunter core?"
***
After the unexpected attack from the A-type monster, Ilucca was not found in any corner of the Ooz District. Ilucca ran away, no, he just didn't want to be in a place that gave him a lot of pain.
Born as the son of the strongest hunter in the district's history, Ilucca grew up with a lot of pressure from everyone's expectations. Marv hoped Ilucca would be the one to bring their district to be part of Utopia, and it frustrated Ilucca greatly when he realized he had no hunter's core at all and would not receive the power of awakening. Ilucca was terrified of people's reactions; his father's sudden death made everyone depend on him so much, and he was so depressed.
But he had Mari and Abel who always helped him. Ilucca also had Alan, who at the time said he would keep Ilucca a hunter by keeping his defect a secret.
It was the path of a loser and when Ilucca lost it all in the blink of an eye, he was like a wooden house that lost all its pillars. Ilucca lost Mari and his team because he was so weak, then the uncle who always looked good turned out to be the reason for his father's death.
"It turns out the rumors were true; you were always jealous of my father's success and wanted to take it away, Uncle. But I didn't want to believe the rumors because I was too naïve, I wanted to believe that you were my best uncle."
Ilucca looked at his bloodstained hands; then he noticed the gunshot wound on his body and realized that it was still open. Ilucca remembered Abel who gave him all these wounds without mercy. Ilucca didn't seem to see his childhood friend at that time, and Abel's betrayal that made Ilucca convicted for the death of his team made Ilucca wonder; why did Abel do that?
"Abel wasn't seen again even after the Monster was defeated. I have to meet him again, but before that, I have to remove these bullets."
Ilucca made his decision and walked deeper into the dense forest towards another place; another district that could help him before they knew who Ilucca was.
