“I will tell you but first, why do you not go and take a bath while I wash these?” He said finally facing me with that smile on his face.

He seems to be lightened up, I do not want anything else to go wrong tonight so I said “Well, if you will give me something to wear then I will take upon your offer.” I said with a playful smile on my face.

“Hhhmm…. What do you prefer? Although I ask, I only have t-shirts and long sleeves, sweat pants and shorts though there are for working out.” He said picking up our plates.

“Then t-shirt and shorts.” I said after a few minutes of thinking, weighing them in my mind. The house is warm enough and I doubt the room would be called as I guess the heater is centralized as I could not see any trace of it so I do not really have the needs for pants and long sleeves and with that thought I go for the shirt and shorts.

Thankfully I got to sneak undergarments earlier in the super market. I had no choice but to buy a new pair since I literally do jot have anything in me. I got the chance to sneak when he needed to step outside to answer a call which really saved me tonight.

“OK, wait for me here or you can just follow me already so I could show you the way.” He said giving me choices.

And since I would feel bad for making him do an extra trip to go get the clothes and comeback and go back to show me the way so I said “If it is on the way I should better just go with you.” I said standing up from the seat which he also did the same leaving the things in the sink and wipe his hands with a towel.

“Then, please follow me mademoiselle.” He said in joking tone.

I giggle before giving him a nod and taking it a sign so he started walking with my hand bag in his hand which he took without even asking me like it is only natural being gentleman he is. We took steps forward towards the door where we came in from the living room earlier. I did not get the chance to see the other half, the half which goes beyond that display cabinet where I was pulled back towards the kitchen and so I guess this time, I would get a chance to see what is beyond that you needed to make a turn which we are about to do right now as we are just a few steps away from it.

As soon as we take the corner, all I could think of is the word is palace, an ancient like palace. The part where we came from was mixed with modern and antique, here everything is antique, filled with antique things in this another living room with twice the size of the one on the other part with the television that is also twice the size of the previous one that I did not even know existed. And my favorite part as of now would be the grand stairs in the middle in front of the door which I guess leads to outside as the wall in that part is all glass giving you a great view of whatever would be beyond that balcony like in day time. Having a red carpet that is so wide that twenty people lining up side by side would have no worries to climb up taking steps all at the same time. Everything is just so marvelous from my sight that I did not know I stopped my tracks mid way until Henry said.

“Are you coming? You can take a good look tomorrow when everything is visible.” Making me turn my head that is so busy looking around, to stop at one direction, towards him and sees him wearing an amusement smile making me realize that my mouth is open into a perfect shape O.

I get back to my track as I take my steps slowly towards him as I speak and said “Are you some kind of prince? Seriously, why do you want to dirty your hands going through people’s brain when you have this kind of house all to yourself.”

“You really have no Idea of what kind of fortune your family has? I mean, I know your brother since the moment I met him, and I have been following all of his achievements that I do know that everything I have, is par on everything you have. You do not even have to pump up people’s heart just to make it beat once again.” He said in retort.

“All I could remember is our house next to Michael’s which is just ten percent the size of this palace. And the house we have in Japan which is from my sister in law's family an ancestral home where we lived since they got married and that apartment we own there where we lived before their marriage.” I said resorting back to him.

I have no memories of any such thing existed in our lives. I just know that we have companies all over the world, but I am not even sure if they are big enough to give us such luxury he is talking about so no, I have no idea.

“Well, your brother might have his own reasons why he does not yet let you know.. I get the feeling though.” He said as we climb up the stares.

The feeling of the carpet under my slippers is enough to let me know how thick it is to make it have a fluffy feeling by just stepping on it and the most mesmerizing is that the whole stair is made of marble in white with a little sharebof brown on it,bit is so shiny that I know someone is taking care of it, as it looks like it is new even though I know it has been here since the construction of this house.

“Feeling? What kind of feeling?” I said after having a good look to my favorite part of this palace.

“Well, we are both from a prestigious family, the companies our parents have is something one day they need to pass down. And we their children have no choice but to have it whether we want it or not. So I admire your brother for taking that big responsibility for a long time already. Though I have a different circumstances I still could not help but to relate myself.” He said with such a low tone that I could not help but to look at him from behind, making me take steps slower.

“Different circumstances?” I said that even though I feel like we need to change the subject, I still could not help but to ask.

“Well, he have you, you have him that even though you do not know anything, everything will be fine because he is there to manage everything, while me is alone. An only child who is just lucky that his parents are still alive that for now have nothing to worry but to do things he want to do. But as soon as something I do not want to happen happens that will make me quit what I love doing, I know I will leave everything behind just to take this big responsibility. It is not just a business, it is a legacy that have been going on to my family. So, I have to do everything within my Forte just to keep it going and someday also pass it down to my children.” He said.

Arriving on the top of the stair, I feel like I do not have time to admire the things that I am seeing at the corner of my eyes as I need to say something for this dark topic.

“So, I guess now I know why they have called you greedy in the hospital. Doing as much as you can in your limited time, everyone who knows your situation could not agree any more than more that what you are doing is just the right and the best thing to do.” I said remembering to hear some of the nurses talking about the greedy surgeon who takes all kinds of brain issues of patients. And now, if I could turn back time, I would not have the same thought of “Cocky" as my reaction, instead I would have glare at them after yelling at them.

“You have no friends that knows you this much, so no one have defended you from everyone’s judgement.” I added as I continously take steps.

Until I bump into something hard that made me wince in pain and automatically held my nose which took the hardest blow.

“They called me greedy? And it is bad enough that I need someone to defend me?” Henry exclaimed into my face as I stood up in front of him, making me realize that I bump into him.

I scoff a little bit before I said in a weird tone “Well, you should be more aware of your surroundings.” As I continue pinching my nose.

“Aware of surroundings huh? I guess I could say that back to you.” He said chuckling a little bit.

“What? Why?” I said.

“Think on your own. By the way we have arrived.” He said in somehow conceited tone before he opens a door which made me realize that him, stopping means we have arrived to where we are heading to.

“Go in, settle yourself while I go get your clothes from my room next to you.” He said pointing both to the room in front of us and the one next to me.

I was surprised since I thought I would be using a guest room which will be far from the master bedroom which he uses. I was shock but had to contain my calm so I said. “OK then.” Before entering my supposedly room.

Henry closed the door as soon as I got in which I took as an opportunity to look around the room is as big as my living room in that apartment of mine. This one seems to be in modern design of interior aside from the bed which is called as bed of kings. It has posts in each corner and a curtain in each side which seems to be perfect when you hate the sun while sleeping, it makes you feel comfortable tolet your windows open all night just to feel the night breeze and walking towards it as the first thing that made me curious, I sat on it and surprisingly it is not so soft enough but good enough to avoid back pains and it made me realize as well to know that it is twice the size of my bed, both three measurements.

The next thing I did is to open the balcony and walk out if it which made me somehow feel scared, since I could not see anything that the moonlight could not lighten up enough, and the lamp posts that just enough to let me know the road we took earlier. But still it is a great view on its own specially with the fresh air that you could know just by inhaling a little bit.

“As expected of forest.” I said while giggling on my own while looking at the view.

“It would be a lot better at day.” Henry said who came in that surprise me enough to make me jump.

“Sorry, I knocked but you did not answer so I thought you already went it.” He added apologetically knowing that he might have scared me.

“Sorry, I was just too engrossed by the night view which is also a great thing.” I said stepping in.

“Great to know. You can go in and just come down when you are done.” He said standing beside the bed after putting down the clothes.

“Thank you. I will now.” I said closing the balcony doors.

“Great, I will be just downstairs and you could take your time.” He said walking back towards the door after seeing me nods to him.

Once he closes the door, I walk towards where two doors are located. I am not sure which one would be the bathroom but still I open both. Luckily the first one is the right one, but my curiosity beats me as I also opened the other one, revealing a wardrobe room, closets with mirror as their doors and a door which I guess making a joint room with the bathroom as it reside on the bathroom side.

“As expected of rich people.” I said opening the door and yeah, greeted by a huge bathroom with a jacuzzi in it making me smile mischievously.
