As closer we get to the stair, the clearer I could hear Catherine’s un even breath and her hand on my arm is shaking.
“It will be OK.” I said as I hold her hand looking at her with a smile on my face.
“Sorry, it is my first time.” She said in a small smile with still nervousness in her voice.
“It will be OK because I would never leave you. I will stick with you for the whole night.” I said in joking tone as we stop before we get completely visible to everyone downstairs.
“Then that would be a problem.” She said after giggling and changed her expression into stern as she looks to me.
“Why? How?” I said in wonder and a little fright. Fright that I have done something I should have not done.
“I do not want unnecessary enemies.” She said rolling her eye to me before she turned her head.
