“Hey.” I said putting one of my ear buds into my ear on the other side, away from Catherine.”
I could feel her gaze on me from my side as we pull over in front of a ten-star hotel. I turn my head to her and give her a signal to wait for a minute and do not climb out of the car and thankfully she nods and stayed seated.
“Ok. I got it. Thanks.” I said after listening to what the other person had to say from the other end of the call. I turned once again towards her and say “Sorry, I had to answer that I am so sorry.” Before I open the car door on my side and climb down, running towards her side to open the door.
“I guess it was urgent and sounded like a girl. Are you sure it is ok for us to eat together tonight?” she said as she took my hand and climb down the car sounding something out
