CHAPTER 15 It’s almost the end of November and the temperature has dipped considerably. When I set out with my posse of dogs the frost crunches underneath my feet and my breath billows out in clouds. Heather has been badgering me to go Christmas shopping, so I’ve given in and booked today off work. I give the dogs a good run through the park and then head home for a rejuvenating shower. I make Robbie’s lunch and cook him warming porridge for breakfast packed with blueberries. The school have decided not to involve the police thankfully. I’m so grateful to Mrs Frostrich I could hug her. Instead Robbie’s been put on a two weeks detention and made to clean the gymnasium wall.
