CHAPTER 40
The following week I’m super busy at work. It seems like the whole of the city have left it to the last minute to do their Christmas shopping. The customers seem happy enough and we even have a generous amount of tips in our box on the counter. I finish off my Christmas shopping. Dad has given me the money for Robbie’s laptop and the electronics store has a great Christmas discount on offer, so I bag a bargain. I mither over what to get Joel, finally deciding on some heavenly smelling aftershave and posh cufflinks. My new boyfriend and his daughter have agreed to join us for Christmas day lunch, along with Dad, Robbie and Aunt Josie. I make a list of everything I need to buy, super organised that I am.
