We were still sitting there on the couch by this time Adriano was asleep and Luna was getting sleepy in her daddy's arms. I was in complete awe of the thought of us being a family. But soon clouded over his mother and finance. His mother would never accept it, if she thought i was trying to use him for money before just imagine when she finds out i have kids. And dont even get me started on the fiance. But i didnt want to bring that up right now, we will have our time to talk. I didnt want to ruin such a beautiful moment, because who knows this could be the last. Adriano is making me arms fall asleep so i set him on the bed. I ask Ace if he wants me to take Luna but he refuses immediately. As he asks me to tell him what Luna is like the nurse walks in, "Mrs. Romano we have to pay for the treatment and care before night falls so he can stay here over night" Her eyes fall directly on Ace and she is practically drooling. "Oh crap wheres my purse?" i start to panic as i remember leaving it at the hotel "Dont worry baby i got it" as he passes Luna to his right arm and puts her head on his shoulder and with his free hand pulls out his wallet and retrieves a gold card. "NO Ace i can pay for it, you don't need to pay for his things" "Im his Father Aria let me do this" i heard the sincerity in his voice and the hope i wouldnt turn him down in his eyes. "Okay fine, thank you" "Dont thank me baby, these kids and you are my life" and he kisses my forehead. I know he's adding the cherry on top because he saw how uncomfortable the nurse looking at him made me. The nurse shyly accepted his card and excused herself. "You really didnt have to do that Ace, i've been providing for these kids their whole life" "I know Aria but now that i know of their existence things are gonna change" "Yeah i had a feeling... which we need to talk about" "And we will just let me enjoy this time".

It was time to bring Adriano home and Ace insisted bringing us back to the hotel. He even went to buy car seats for the kids because thats an excuse i had put out. But he made a call and had two car seats delivered to the hospital. Adriano had fully recovered and it was time to take them home. I went to place each baby in their car seat. When i went to pick them up Ace immediately swat my hand away "What?!" i chuckled "let me carry them" i nodded. The site of him carrying both car seats in each hand i was in complete awe. There was a SUV parked outside waiting for us instead of his sport car that he usually drives. "Yours?" "Yes, surprised ?" "Well yeah doesnt seem like something you'd drive" "Well it's not but i had them bring it since i would be taking you guys home". We got in and drove back to the hotel. "Are you hungry" "A little" "Okay we can go eat and well talk" "Okay" the conversation and ive been dreading but i know we must have. He reaches this cute breakfast cafe. he brings down the kids and i grab my purse. He's taking any chance to be close with them. We reach inside and the waitress completely disregards my existence and turns to Ace. "Good morning sir, how can i be of service?" with a seductive voice. I immediately shift uncomfortably, Ace notices and grabs my hand and answers "Yes can you please get a get a table for my my wife and I and two high chairs for my kids, oh and a different waitress also" he face turns sour and Ace looks at me and winks with a smirk. "Of course right this way" She brings us to the table and we settle in. "It's cute when youre jealous you know?" smirking, "I wasnt jealous " "Yeah okay, if theres one thing i know about you is that you could never hide your facial expressions" and chuckles "HA HA very funny" "Lets order then we'll talk" "Okay". An older women come out and takes our orders nothing compared to the other waitress. I take a sip of my coffee and he's watching me intensively. "Sooo" "So let's talk" "Okay let's talk Ace." "What's gonna happen between us" "Ace there is no us, we have kids in common but there cant be an us, your mother wont accept me ever, and you have a fiance" "Aria im not letting you take my kids away from me after ive been out of there lives for this long im not missing anything else" I could see the frustration in his face. He didnt want to be away from them and i dont blame him but there is still hidden feelings, things were said and done.We both fell silent after this. What do we do ? There's a strong force bringing us together but there will be a stronger force trying to pull us apart. "So what do you want me to do Ace? Let you have them and you get married and have some bimbo raise them ? Im not gonna have my kids have anyone but me as their mother. Married or not. Ive given my life to them and im not about to let your mother or you brainless fiance try to come and take them from me. I already let your mother taking something from me im not making that same mistake again." i can see it kinda stunned him hearing me talk like this but i had to lay all of my cards on the table, i dont mess around when it comes to my kids and he needs to have that clear. "Okay so what do you think we can do ?" "I'm going back to California you're able to come visit them when ever you'd like" "Im not letting you leave the state with them Aria" "Ace we have our life in Cali, just because you've been added to their life now doesnt mean im going to take them away from their life just because youre a part of it now." "Yeah because you hid them from me" To see i was going to explode was an understatement. "I HID THEM ? YOU BELIEVED YOUR MOTHER AND YOU LEFT ME! I WAS NOT GOING TO USE THE KIDS AS A REASON TO MAKE YOU STAY ! YOU LEFT ME DO YOU KNOW HOW HARD IT WAS TO RAISE THEM ALONE ?" Thank goodness there was no one else in the cafe because i was causing a whole scene. But how could he say i kept them away?
