Episode 5

Today was the day Jasmine came home from the hospital, i missed her so much and so did the babies. I knew Santiago was going to brig her home so i made sure the kids took a nap so they weren't crawling around and get seen by their uncle. Jasmine is brought home and Santi comes up thankfully the kids stayed soundly asleep while he was here. Knowing Ace was gone i decided it was safe to take the kids out. I went to the Starbucks by my house the kids loved the cake pops. I sat down and drank my coffee while the kids were munching on the pops i their stroller. I felt a presence behind me i look up and its Santi looking at me with his mouth open then looks at the kids then back at me. "A..Ar..Aria, are thes..these My nephews?" "Y-yes" "he sat down in the chair infront of me "He's Ace's spitting image and shes just like you, oh my im an uncle" After i recollected myself i explained everything to him from when i found out i was pregnant to th incident with his mom till my life now with them. "And this is why you weren't allowed in the house i didn't want you finding out then Ace would know and your mom would try to take them" "Oh Aria im so sorry for what my mother has done to you, not only that night but to have to go through this pregnancy alone."I wasn't alone Santi i had jasmine and these little sunshine's, they made everything worth it." my babies giggle. "May i carry them?" "Sure" he picks up Luna and then Adriano."He has the Romano eyes, What are their names?" "This is Luna Everly & he is Adriano Valentino R-Romano" i stuttered on the last name. "They carry their fathers last name?" "Yes, eventually they'll know who he is" "May i continue to see them?" "As long as you dont tell ace or anyone else " "I promise" "Hello cuties im your uncle Santiago" 

From that day forward Santiago came regularly and visited the kids he grew a bond with them that was truly beautiful. It was nice to have the kids have some sort of relationship with their fathers side of the family. I dont know when ill be able to tell Ace about them. I dont know if ill ever be able to knowing how his mother is. Its definitely something i have to think long and hard about. 

It's been 2 months since i last saw Ace, i always think of him especially when i look at my son. Santi came and told us he was having a birthday party in New York. And that he would love for us to go. I of course said no as soon as he said it but after weeks of convincing i accepted. Mom said to go as it was only for the weekend and she of course didnt mind taking care of the babies and how i never had time for myself. In my mind i knew it would be nice to party and get my mind off things. But my mind quickly drifts to Ace of course hes going to be there. And his mom too oh goodness am i in for an emotional roller coaster. But im not the same girl i was when i left the park that night. Santi and Jasmine were nice enough to get me a beautiful gown to wear. We were in the hotel already and it was time to get ready, i showered i let the water run over me warming my body preparing me for what i know will be a long night. I shut it off and dry myself, i apply my makeup, do my hair in a messy bun with some strands out, its time to slip in my dress. The dress was beautiful it was red silk, low v cut which extenuated my chest amazingly, the back was completely bare and came to about just a little above my behind, the dress was long but had a long slit that came above my knee.It was body hugging and made my waist look small and my curves looked great and it hugged my behind perfectly. I paired it with black lace up heels, and a small thin-gold necklace i stare at myself in the mirror one last time and prepare to see him. 

I make my way out the room to find jasmine "WOW LOOK AT YOU" "Thank you for the dress it's absolutely beautiful" "Girl you're welcome this dress was made for you" "Shall we go?" "Is Santi going to meet us there?" "Yeah he had to be there to greet the guests and his family is making some grand entrance" "Oh great " i said sarcastically. We arrive to the party and it's in this lavish 5 star hotel that Jasmine then tells me is owned by Ace. We walk in and immediately Are greeted by waiters offering champagne i take one and so does Jaz. We walk around, everything is decorated beautifully, with such elegance. Theres an open bar, waiters walking around with trays of finger foods. Maybe 10 mins after we get there an older male gets on the stage and asks for everyone's attention. "Ladies and Gentleman, i'd like for everyone to please stand up and help me welcome the Romano Family" . Everyone begins to clap and cheer. His parents walk in with their arms intertwined at the side Santi comes out with them Ace comes looking amazing with such a strong aur. He's wearing a black fitted Armani suit his tattoos are accented perfected with the dark color, he had a fresh hair cute and nicely slicked back hair he looked breathtaking but i immediately stopped my tracks when i saw some blonde bimbo attached to his arm in the skimpiest dress with her boobs practically falling out which by the way are completely fake, pounds of makeup caked on hair extensions lip injections the whole 9. His mother grabs the mic and says "Thank you to everyone for coming to my sons birthday we are beyond proud and happy to celebrate another year of life. We also would like to ask if when you congratulate Santiago you will also congratulate our son Ace for his engagement to Elena Galindo" My mouth completely dropped Jasmine immediately looked at me. "He's getting married?" "Oh baby im so sorry i had no clue" jasmine said looking at me sympathetically. If i had the even the slightest though of telling him about the kids that has just vanished. I refuse to have my kids around some bimbo. I convinced myself that was the only reason. Deep down i was hurt, and to think that moment we shared in the parking garage. "Do you want to go ?" Jaz asked me. "No no of course not i won't let that affect me i have to beautiful babies at home thats all i will ever need to feel content in my life." " know Ari but just let me know at any time of the party if you feel uncomfortable and we will go home." "Don't worry about me Jaz we're here for Santi " she gave me a reassuring smile and squeeze on my shoulder. The Romano's gave a speech and quiet frankly i did not hear one word my eyes were glued on him and that stupid barbie. After they were done Santi came to us i hugged him and wished him a happy birthday we were there talking for about 5 minutes when we make our way to the bar i sit down and ask for a glass of white wine. I hear someone say "Whiskey neat" "sure thing boss" i look next to me and indeed its Ace sitting next to me. "You look absolutely stunning  that dress was made for you" "Thanks" i answer firmly trying to be serious with him even though im falling apart inside. "I didnt know you were coming" "why would you know if we have no communication" "ouch, well we can change that if you want" "No thanks i dont mess with engaged men" "Im guessing you heard that" "It was informed to the guests so yeah i did" "It's not what it looks like" "Ace you have no reason to give me any sort of explanations we have no sort of relationship so what goes on in your personal life is none of my concern." His jaw clenches and his makes his hands into fists, "so you dont care?" "i stopped caring that night at the park" i got up and left. I made my way to where Jasmine and Santi was sitting. "What was that about?" Santi asked with a smirk "Your brother annoying me " 

We continue to sit there when one of Santi's friends come over. He's tall and very handsome with light brown hair blue eyes. "Aria this is Joshua" "Nice to meet you Joshua" i extend my hand and he kisses my knuckles "The pleasure is all mine" we sat there and chatted, he was so handsome and very easy to talk to. I look at jasmine and her and santi are being very secretive and giggly i silently mouth "whats funny?" she nods her head to look behind me and there he is, with those piercing grey eyes looking straight at me, furious. If looks could kill Joshua would be on the floor bloody. He asks me to dance and i do, mainly because he's super cute but also because Ace is looking. After two songs i make my way to the ladies room to freshen up.
