Alex’s POV
I had my dance with Hailee and then one with my mom. I had left Sam dancing with Kane and now I saw him dancing with his mate and I couldn’t find mine. I scanned the room and nothing.
“Alpha Alex, care to have a dance?” Sally, a pack member, asked me.
“I am sorry. I need to find my mate.” I told her, walking away.
I continued to scan the room and still didn’t see her. “Sam, where are you?” I linked her.
“Sorry, I don’t feel well. I am going to lie down.” She linked back.
“Where are you?” I asked again.
“Going to lie down.”
I walked out of the ballroom and headed to the stairs when I found her walking out of the bathroom.
“Sam, what’s wrong?” I asked her as I got up to her, but she didn’t turn to face me. She just hung her head. I grabbed her and spun her to face me and
