Sam’s POV
“Get up,” Aaron yelled at me from the doorway of my cell.
I didn’t say anything, but got up and followed him out of the dungeon and upstairs. I knew what was waiting for me. My regular chores and then preparing things for the Luna ceremony. We were three days away from it. I was getting three hours of sleep a night. Amelia had me doing everything for it and I only got two weeks’ notice to do it. They were having it outside, and I had to clean the area of shrubs and bushes and limbs and pine cones and whatever else was there. Once that was done, someone came in and cut down trees and once that was done, I had to clean that up as well.
