Sam’s POV
I walked into Alex’s office, and Zane, his beta, got up to leave. I wanted to talk to him about my choice. It was a hard decision to make, but I knew what I wanted and I had stipulations of my own. I had certain things that I didn’t think I wanted in life and he had to be ok with that as well.
Alex got up from his desk and came over and kissed my cheek, and then took my hand and pulled me to the couch. We sat there together, and he just held my hand, not asking me to talk yet.
